New (But Nothing New) Depeche Mode Video Collection

Depeche Mode are going to release on the 11th of November the "Video Single Collection".
As the title says, it covers all Depeche Mode's videos from all the singles and (the only "new" stuff) over 2 hours of commentaries about the impact of the British band on visual image.

The content will include the videos from all of the U.K. singles from 1981 to today.
Also will be available the american video for Strangelove, But Not Tonight (a b-side, released as a single there to promote the film Modern Girls) and One Caress (released as a promo-single).

So, what is really missing?
It's a pity they didn't include the amazing videos for Pimpf, Halo and Clean. I mean, almost all of the single videos are already available on the Singles 86-98 DVD or on the Best Of DVD, so, it would make more sense to include them (although they were not "official" singles).

Also, what was being criticised by the fans was the format. People wanted something with High Definition or Blu-Ray.

Well, it seems like a commercial orientated release from Sony, with nothing new, when everyone is expecting news about the band's new album due to get out of the studio next year.

Also to point that, this is the first item to be released by Sony, since they bought all of DM's back catalogue.
